Audra is an energetic and vibrant dreamer who conceived the idea for A Step Up in 2020 amidst a global pandemic and her own life tragedy as her son went through cancer treatment. Alex and the 23 children under his care were the ones who helped bring her back from the darkest place she had ever been in, and it is her life dream to continue partnering with him to help as many Ugandan children as possible. Her expertise in pediatric nursing has played an integral role in the creation of this nonprofit organization supporting orphans across the world.
